Support Me

Our mission is to raise money to donate to the V Foundation to help fund pivotal Cancer research and provide grants to clinical trials and research studies searching for a cure. This will be accomplished through a string of thrilling charitable events where different Laurier programs face off against one another, bringing the Laurier community together in support of this important cause. The Grand River Classic is the ultimate showcase of sportsmanship, charity, and Golden Hawk pride.

We are excited to support The V Foundation because 100% of donations get put directly to finding a cure. Since it's creation, they have awarded over 1300 grants to help game-changing research and save lives. A quote from V Foundation founder Jim Valvano that will always stick with me is "Don't give up... don't ever give up". My Uncle Lenny had the same mentality. He never stopped fighting. And now it's our turn to join the fight and help find a cure.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! We are excited to support the V Foundation for Cancer Research, an organization committed to declaring Victory Over Cancer®. The research the V Foundation funds is critical. By making a donation you will be supporting carefully vetted, cutting-edge research at prominent cancer centers nationwide.
