Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I am excited to support the V Foundation for Cancer Research, an organization committed to declaring Victory Over Cancer®.
We have all felt the sting of cancer. Breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, multiple myeloma, leukemia, colon cancer- you name it. Some of you/your loved ones continue to fight while others have lost the battle. This fundraiser was started after our Tio Tony passed away at 43 years old in 2009 from esophageal cancer. His nieces and nephews needed to do something. The V Foundation was chosen because 100% of every penny donated goes directly to cancer research and programs- no money goes to overhead. Since The V Foundation was founded in 1993, nearly $290 million has been raised to fund cutting edge research for adults and children. Thanks to your support, we have been able to raise just over $45,000. We are hoping to break $50,000 this year!
The research the V Foundation funds is critical. By making a donation you will be supporting carefully vetted, cutting-edge research at prominent cancer centers nationwide. Will you join me in the fight against cancer by donating today?
