Support Me

Thank you for visiting my page! I am excited to support the V Foundation for Cancer Research, an organization committed to declaring Victory Over Cancer®, in honor of my mother, who was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in September 2022 and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

By making a donation you will be supporting carefully vetted, cutting-edge research at prominent cancer centers nationwide. I researched many charities and chose the V Foundation because of their commitment to having 100% of donations go towards cancer research, their support of all-star scientists, and their founder, the late Jim Valvano, who was inspired to create the V Foundation during his own battle with cancer.

After I heard his ESPY speech, I was truly moved to support this organization. He said, "We need your help. I need your help. We need money for research. It may not save my life. It may save my children’s lives. It may save someone you love. And it’s very important

I urge all of you, all of you, to enjoy your life, the precious moments you have. To spend each day with some laughter and some thought, to get your emotions going. To be enthusiastic every day, and Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Nothing great could be accomplished without enthusiasm,” to keep your dreams alive in spite of problems whatever you have. The ability to be able to work hard for your dreams to come true, to become a reality."

This benefit concert is the way I aspire to embody these values and do my part for furthering cancer research. Virtually everyone I know has been touched by cancer in some way, and I hope someday thanks to the work of incredible scientists that cancer will be a thing of the past.
