Mark Kappen Memorial Fund

As family of Mark Kappen, we celebrate and remember Mark's life. 

Cancer research is important to us because we know, someday, cancer will be a disease of the past. We have chosen to designate donations to the V Foundation for Cancer Research because Mark embodied the same spirit as Jim Valvano to "Don't Give Up ... Don't Ever Give Up!®.  Just like Jimmy V, through the years, Mark helped coach his sons in various sports, such as hockey, baseball, and basketball as well as volunteered his time helping high school football.  Throughout his two year battle with cancer, he vowed to continue fighting as being a father and husband were his greatest accomplishments. 

We will never give up in the fight against cancer. Thank you for standing beside us, for remembering Mark and for considering a gift to the V Foundation in Mark's memory.
