A personal campaign sponsored by Shaker Logistics

Support Me

Shaker Logistics, based in upstate New York, is an asset-based 3PL that works with customers in the chemical, packaging, paper, retail, and construction materials industries. Two of the newest trucks in our fleet are hitting the road to fight cancer! We are donating $0.05 per mile for every mile each of these trucks drive over the next five years, shared between the V Foundation and our local cancer patient care charity, the NYOH Community Cancer Fund.

Our two new cancer-fighting trucks, with bold and arresting graphics, are being driven by two Shaker drivers with a personal connection to cancer: Ed Coons lost both of his parents to cancer, most recently his father in March 2023; and Mike Gleason underwent treatment for cancer in summer of 2023. Mike's wife is also a cancer survivor.

Cancer has impacted the lives of many other Shaker employees - when we launched the program we learned of employees who are currently battling cancer or who have lost loved ones to the disease. Many have also been caregivers to those undergoing cancer treatment.

At the end of every quarter, we'l total up the miles driven and make our company donation via this page.

We invite you to join us in supporting the V Foundation for Cancer Research by clicking the red "Support Me" button above. Together we'll fight cancer one mile at a time.
