Jortstop Night 2024

Two year ago a group of rowdy, passionate Phillies fans piled in to Citizens Bank Park to support their beloved Phillies but more importantly their second baseman, Jean Segura. Decked head to toe in denim, the rambunctious group quickly took night by storm... Jean's jeans was born. An idea that came from impromptu arts and crafts project snowballed into 70 twenty-something-years-olds singing and dancing on their own. We discovered the attention that a group of ridiculously dressed fans can draw. We saw an opportunity and took to turn this one-off tailgate into a yearly tradition to bring friends and family together while supporting an incredible cause.

Our Mission

This year, we want to use the enthusiasm and passion of our group to raise money for a great cause. That is why we partnered with The V Foundation for cancer research to use our event as a way to raise money to help fight cancer.

Phillies  shortstop Trea Turner, and his wife Kristen, have a long history with the Jimmy V foundation. As NC State grads and a philanthropists in their own rights, we can think of no better way to celebrate Philadelphias  “Jortstop” and his family while continuing our tradition.

Anyone who attended past event can tell you how the community and uniqueness made for an unforgettable night. Last year we were able to raise over $3500 for The V foundation. This year we have bigger goals but we need you to help reach them.

How to get Involved

Theres still time to attend the tailgate and be part of the chaos. All details regarding ticket sales can be found at www.coolertalksports.com . We would love to see you there in your best denim outfit.

If you cannot attend but our mission and passion resonates with you and want to donate to this incredible cause the donation link is on the top of the page.
